The Necessary Documents

Document Notation
1. An Application Form
2. An original and a copy of the national Passport
3. An original and a copy of a Secondary Education Document A Secondary Education Document must be notarized, legalized (apostilled) and translated into Ukrainian language.
4. An original and a copy of a Transcript of Academic Records (obtained grades) (it’s an Application to the Secondary education document). A Transcript of Academic Records (obtained grades) must be notarized, legalized (apostilled) and translated into Ukrainian language.
5. An original and a copy of a Bachelor Diploma A Bachelor Diploma must be notarized, legalized (apostilled) and translated into Ukrainian language.
6. An original and a copy of a Transcript of Academic Records (obtained grades) (it’s an Application to the Bachelor Diploma). A Transcript of Academic Records (obtained grades) must be notarized, legalized (apostilled) and translated into Ukrainian language.
7. An original and a copy of Birth Certificale A Birth Certificale must be translated into Ukrainian language. The translation must be notarized.
8. A Medical Health Certificate

A Medical Health Certificate, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner arrived, issued not later than two months before departure to study in Ukraine. It must be translated into Ukrainian language. The translation must be notarized.

9. A Valid Insurance Policy for emergency medical care
10. 6 photos sized 6,0x4,0 sm;
11. A copy of a Foreign Ukrainian Certificate If it’s present

Rules of Entry and Residence in Ukraine

 

International students in Ukraine should receive long-stay visa type «D» (purpose of the trip: Educational programs/training), unless otherwise provided by the legislation of Ukraine.

Foreigners who have arrived in Ukraine with the purpose of Educational programs/training should receive a Certificate of temporary residence in Ukraine.

 

 

Registration Certificates for temporary residence in Ukraine

 

To obtain a Certificate of temporary residence in Ukraine within three days upon arrival in Ukraine foreigners must submit such documents to Mayakovsky, 7 room.5:

  1. An Application Form
  2. A national Passport with long-stay visa type «D» (purpose of the trip: Educational programs/training), unless otherwise provided by the legislation of Ukraine or stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine and the copies of the national Passport pages containing personal information and visa
  3. A notarized Ukrainian translation of the national Passport pages containing personal information
  4. A receipt of state fee payment
  5. 4 matte paper photos sized 3,5x4,5 sm
  6. An insurance policy for emergency medical care
  7. A document of residence (certificate from the hostel ONU or notarized agreement of an individual to register the place of residence of the foreigner)

Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University is not responsible for students health care. Medical service of foreign students is carried out on the basis of an insurance policy for emergency medical care that they should have within the whole period of studying at the university.
