Excursion " Acquaintance with Odessa " for students of the preparatory department of the Institute of International Education
On October 13, the preparatory department students and professors of the Chair of linguistic and humanitarian training of foreigners visited the historic center of Odessa - the main historic district of the city, political, economic and cultural center. International students saw architectural sights of the city and monuments erected to outstanding people, whose life and activities are directly connected with Odesa - a monument to Duke Duc de Richelieu, A.S. Pushkin, Prince MS Vorontsov, L. Utesov. Students of the preparatory department listened with great enthusiasm about life of A.S. Pushkin, N.V. Gogol, A. A. Akhmatova, Adam Mitskevich, Vera Kholodnaya, Dmitry Mendeleev, Ilya Mechnikov and many others. The historical center - the heart of our city had become a favorite for many international students who came to Odessa.

On October 13, foreign students of the preparatory department of the Institute of International Education, together with the senior IMO teacher Ivleva S.N., visited one of the best theaters in Europe - the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater.
